一、学校简介
大连交通大学创建于1956年，是一所以轨道交通和复合型软件人才培养为特色的高等学校。学校位于辽东半岛的最南端，风景秀丽的大连市。学校是辽宁省一流学科重点建设高校，具有博士、硕士、学士学位授予权。机械工程、材料科学与工程学科是辽宁省高等学校一流学科。学校现有专任教师1029人，全日制在校生20551人。
学校坚持开放办学的理念，是中国政府奖学金来华留学生接收院校、《中美人才培养计划》121项目创新人才培养实验基地。与澳大利亚、美国、日本、俄罗斯等国家100多所院校和教育科研机构建立了校际合作关系。建有中日友好大连人才培训中心，设立中外合作办学机构1个，中外合作办学本科教育项目3个。
建校以来，学校培养了十万余名毕业生，大多数毕业生在轨道交通行业就业，部分已成为行业领军人物和核心技术骨干，在业内被誉为“中国轨道交通装备制造业工程师的摇篮”。新时代，学校紧紧围绕辽宁实现新时代全面振兴、全方位振兴和现代轨道交通装备制造业发展，抓牢“一带一路”倡议、“交通强国”等发展机遇，全面深入实施学校“十四五”发展规划，全力加快推进学校“双一流”建设，开创学校高质量发展新局面。
二、留学项目及申请条件
（一）汉语进修生项目
年龄在60周岁以下，身体健康，遵守中国法律，热爱中国文化，学习期限不限。该项目面向希望学习汉语及中国文化的申请人开放。课程既为初学者设计，也适合高级学习者，课程安排灵活，以满足不同的学习需求。
（二）普通进修生、高级进修生项目
年龄在45周岁以下，普通进修生须具有中国学士学位或与中国学士学位相当的学历；高级进修生须具有中国硕士学位或与中国硕士学位相当的学历。授课语言和学习期限不限。

（二）普通进修生、高级进修生
1.《大连交通大学外国留学生入学申请表》，本人签字、贴2寸照片；

3.最高学历证明及成绩单复印件（需公证）。在校生须提供在读证明和成绩单；
4.HSK等级考试证书（申请汉语授课提供）；
5.英语水平证明（申请英语授课提供）；
6.两封教授或副教授的推荐信；
7.来华学习计划。
以上材料须用中文或英文书写。
五、申请时间及申请材料提交方式
（一）申请时间
全年任意时间均可申请。
（二）申请材料提交方式
申请人须按照材料要求，将申请材料提交至大连交通大学国际合作与交流处（留学生部）。申请材料提交方式可选择以下方式之一：
1.申请者本人递交或委托他人递交；
2.邮寄（邮寄地址见联系方式）；
3.电子版发送至412728212@qq.com，所有申请材料用一个邮件发送。
六、注册报到
被录取的留学生应于《大连交通大学留学生录取通知书》所指定的要求和期限来校报到，因故不能按时报到者，必须征得学校同意。否则，将视为自动放弃入学资格。
学生报到时，必须按规定足额缴纳各项费用（包括学费、报名费、住宿费、保险费等）否则不予办理报到手续。留学生缴费时，请妥善保管收据，以备查用。
新生报到后，学校组织复查。不符合入学条件者，取消其入学资格。

Ⅰ. School Profile
Founded in 1956, Dalian Jiaotong University is an institution of higher education featured rail transit and interdisciplinary software talent training. The University is located at the southernmost tip of Liaodong Peninsula and in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city. It is a key university in Liaoning Province, with the right of conferring doctorate, master's degree and bachelor's degree, and its Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering are both first-class majors in Liaoning Province. The University has 1029 full-time teachers and 20,551 full-time students.
The University adheres to the concept of open education, it is entitled to recruit international students with Chinese government-funded scholarship, and it is also the “121 Project” Innovative Talent Training Base under the Sino-US Talent Training Program, with its cooperation reached more than 100 colleges, universities and scientific research institutions in Australia, the United States, Japan, Russia and other countries. In addition, it has witnessed Sino-Japan Friendship (Dalian) Talent Training Centre, one Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run school and other three Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Programs set up on campus.
The University has brought up more than 100,000 graduates since the establishment, and most of them work in rail transit industry, with some already becoming the industrial leaders and technical experts. II. Program and Qualification
(Ⅰ.) Chinese Language Program
Candidate must be under 60 years old, with good health, observance of Chinese laws and regulations, and loving Chinese culture. Duration of study: no limit. Program is open to international applicants who wish to study the Chinese language and culture. Courses are designed for beginners and advanced learners, which are flexible to meet different learning needs.
(Ⅱ.) General Advanced and Senior Advanced Program
Candidate must be under 45 years old, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent to apply Ordinary Further Education Program, or a master's degree or equivalent to apply Advanced Further Education Program. For both programs, there is no limitation on teaching language or duration of study.

1.The filled-out International Student Application Form of Dalian Jiaotong University, with one 2-inch photo and your signature on it;
2. The copy of the first page of your passport, and also of one blank page of that;
3. The copy of the highest academic degree and notarized transcript; In-status students must provide both studying certificate and transcript;
4. HSK Certificate (for program taught in Chinese);
5. English proficiency certificate (for program taught in English);
6. Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors;
7. Study Plan.
All of the above materials must be written in Chinese or English.

Applications can be submitted at any time throughout the year.
(Ⅱ.)Way of Application Submission
Applicants should submit their applications in line with above-mentioned requirement to International Cooperation and Exchange Office(International Students Office) of Dalian Jiaotong University, through either of the following ways:
1. Submit your paper applications in person or entrust others to submit them;
2. Mail your paper applications to the mailing address (can be found in contact information);
3. Send your electronic applications to 412728212@qq.com, with all application materials sent from only one email address.
VI. Registration
Students received our notice should register according to the requirements and deadlines as specified in the Admission Notice of Dalian Jiaotong University for International Students. If you can not arrive on time, you must get the approval of our university, otherwise it will be regarded as giving up admission..
Upon registration, all fees (including tuition fees, registration fees, accommodation fees, insurances, etc.) shall be paid as required. International students shall keep the receipts properly in case of any use.
After registration, a qualification re-check will be conducted to find out unqualified students and remove the admission.
